Tooth Pain...

A couple days ago I was out and about with my husband.   It was 730pm, most places were closed for the evening and there was a crazy rainy snowy storm rolling across the area.  I was 50 miles from home which was about an hour drive or more with the slick road.   I have a broken tooth in the back on my lower left side.  It's been broken for quite some time now.  Anyone who knows me, knows how much I loathe going to the dentist.  I'll put it off as long as I can.   This doesn't usually fare well, I know, it usually just makes the matters worse and results in a costlier fix and more agonizing pain.   But yet, I still procrastinate.

If you've ever had to have a root canal, you probably have experienced having an exposed nerve ending in your mouth.   If you haven't, I'm here to tell you that in my opinion, nerve pain in your mouth and jaw are by far the WORST pain you will ever experience in your life.    I have a very high tolerance for pain normally.  Nerve pain in my face tends to floor me, turn me into a crying 3 year old writhing on the floor in extreme dramatic pain.   Not only does your tooth hurt, nerve pain radiates.   This means it's not localized to one area of your mouth or even your face.

This particular night, it hit me.   It punched me square in the face.  It radiated from that one tooth, up my jawline, into my front top teeth, my left cheek and into my eye socket.   I cried.  I screamed.  I was desperate. I needed relief and I needed it now.

No dentists open.   A several miles from home.   My husband drove to the nearest grocery store to find some orajel or something.   Anything!

I couldn't take it.   It seemed like forever.  And while he was in the store I realized I had a packet of doTERRA Deep Blue Rub in his glove box and a little bit of fractionated coconut oil.  Now, you certainly can't put deep blue in your mouth, yuck!  So I thought.   What if I rub a little bit on my jaw line/cheek.   What would I be out?

I was completely amazed!   Within literally seconds I could feel the pain subdue.   I massaged a bit more on my jaw line on the cheek outside my mouth where the broken tooth is.  Within minutes, I was pain free and relaxed.   And then my husband returned to the car with the orajel.   How was I supposed to tell him I didn't need it anymore? Lol.

So I know I need to make a dentist appointment and get this taken care of.  But for the short term, I am sooo grateful I had that packet of Deep Blue!   I'm pretty sure given the experiences  I've had so far with it, it's my favorite oil blend!  I've been amazed more than once with it in the last couple months!

If you want to try it, I can send you a free sample!
